About The Event
The Sewing Bee is held every year to put a smile on the faces of children in need. Ladies gather at the club to make fun pillowcases for children in Lee Health's oncology ward and no-sew blankets for young ones with their mothers at ACT, the shelter for abused women.  Last year thirty-two ladies worked many hours to make it all happen. We made over 100 pillowcases and 25 no-sew blankets! Sewing machines can be heard humming throughout the day in our clubhouse. It is a wonderful example of how Copperleaf Cares!
