Donating Appreciated Securities
Looking to make an even bigger impact? Donating long-term appreciated securities — such as stock, bonds, or mutual funds — directly to CCF can be a wonderfully tax-smart way to give. Compared with donating cash, or selling your securities and giving the after-tax proceeds, this route may let you increase both your gift and your tax deduction.
