About The Event
Join your friends and neighbors as Copperleaf volunteers at the Community Cooperative Mobile Food Pantry located at the Bonita Springs YMCA on May 12th between 8:30am and 11:00am. We are looking for 15 volunteers. We ask that volunteers complete the attached waiver form and bring it with you to the event.
The Mobile Food Pantry is one of Community Cooperative’s most innovative and effective ways to bring much needed food to an area in which a majority of the residents have limited access to large retail stores with fresh food and grocery products. The residents in these neighborhoods live below the federal poverty level, as determined by the United States Government. Through our Mobile Food Pantries, individuals and families are able to access fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, and bread that are so vital to maintaining a proper diet, as well as access to other services such as housing, employment, and…
